🏑 About the App
StickStat is an iOS app built for field hockey parents, fans, and coaches who want more than a score notification. Add any NCAA program and get direct access to schedules, results, player statistics, goalkeeper performance, and penalty corner data — pulled automatically from each school's official athletics site.
Three home screen widgets keep you up to date between app opens: one for your team's next game, a goalkeeper stats card that shows season and last-game numbers at a glance, and a player stats card for any field player you track.
A companion Apple Watch app keeps your synced team list, next game, last result, and roster right on your wrist.

Adding Teams
›
Tap + → Browse Teams to pick a school from the built-in directory — search by name or browse by conference. Prefer to enter it yourself? Tap + → Add Manually and enter the school name plus the URL of their athletics schedule page (e.g. https://bridgewatereagles.com/sports/field-hockey).
- Tap ↻ to refresh all teams at once.
- Tap ⚙ to set your conference — those schools pin to the top of the list.
- Export before every TestFlight update — new builds reset app data. Import restores all your teams at once.

Schedule & Game Details
›
Tap a team to open its schedule. Upcoming games are at the top; completed games below.
- Upcoming game → links to live stream and live stats when available.
- Completed game → full box score and single-game player stats for both teams.
- Watch Replay button appears when a replay link has been published.

Conference Standings
›
On a team's page, tap the standings icon (#) in the toolbar to see live conference standings, ranked by record, for every school in that team's conference. Only available for teams added from the Browse Teams directory.

Today's Games
›
Tap the calendar icon in the team list's toolbar to see every tracked team's games for a single day, across all your teams at once.
- Swipe left or right to page to the previous or next day.
- Tap the date label to jump to any day with a calendar picker.

Player Stats
›
Tap the Players tab for season statistics. Default sort is by Points; tap the sort icon to switch to jersey number. Goalkeepers appear in their own section at the bottom.

Team Stats
›
Tap the Team Stats tab for a season-long side-by-side breakdown.
- Tap Penalty Corners for a game-by-game corner count.
- Tap Penalty Cards for a full-season card summary by player.

Season History
›
Tap the calendar icon (top-right of any team's page) to open Season History. Use the year picker in the title bar to switch between past seasons going back to 2018.
- Players tab — full player stat roster for that season.
- Team Stats tab — season totals, penalty corners, and cards.
- Schedule tab — tap Open in Browser to view that year's schedule on the school's website.

Widgets

Long-press your home screen → tap + → search StickStat.
- Next Game — Tap the widget to cycle teams; long-press to lock it to a specific team.
- GK Stats — Long-press → Edit Widget to choose your goalkeeper. Requires the school to publish GK-specific stats.
- Player Stats — Long-press → Edit Widget to choose a field player. Search by player name or team name to find the right player quickly.

Apple Watch App

Install the StickStat app on your paired Apple Watch from the Watch app on your iPhone. Your tracked teams sync automatically — no setup needed.
- Team list shows each team's current record at a glance.
- Tap a team for its next game, last result, and full roster.
